What Happens at Meetings:
What Happens at a Meeting? All meetings are based on mutual respect, with the understanding that whatever is shared, is confidential. Meetings usually take the form of an informal discussion and anyone can bring a subject up for discussion. People also come to share their ideas, feelings, challenges, and solutions. Everyone is given the opportunity to contribute if they wish, and is no one is under any obligation to do so if they don't feel like it. Occasionally there are guest speakers who come and contribute their specialist knowledge. There are also tea, biscuits, and laughs.
Who are the meetings for and who can come?
Who can come and is there a charge? Anyone who has a genuine interest is welcome, and there is no charge to attend. The people who come are affected by Bipolar Disorder / Manic Depression in one way or another either by having the diagnosis themselves, or by being associated with someone who has.
